I have had a lot of clients inquire about the COVID-19 shot. People are scared and they feel lost. I understand. I needed answers too – for my loved ones, myself, and my clients. As a result of my need to understand the virus that causes COVID-10 (SARS-CoV-2) and the shot, I have spent countless hours reading, studying, and learning about SARS-CoV-2, the disease itself, the “vaccines”, and the treatments available. Fortunately, there is a lot of information out there! I have weeded through the COVID-19 forest information fire and narrowed it down.

In this blog post I will share with you my thoughts on the COVID-19 shots and the reasons I will not take this shot, including my central reason. I will include links to important videos and articles I found exceptionally powerful in my quest to understand our current situation. I will also share with you what I am doing personally regarding the shot, including how I support my immune system should I be re-exposed to SARS-CoV-2 or some variation of it. I invite you to watch the videos in their entirety and read the pages to their end as well. I believe humanity is at a precipice that will determine our future. I apologize in advance if some of the links no longer exist when you read this post. YouTube and other platforms are deleting many of these videos. I believe it’s time to take back control of our health and freedom.

In this post I will attempt to answer many of the questions my clients have been asking me including:

  • Should I take the vaccine? Or not?
  • What are the possible long-term effects of the various COVID-19 vaccines?
  • Do these vaccines contain aborted fetuses?
  • Is it ethical for Catholics and other Christians to take this shot?
  • How can I prevent COVID-19? Are masks effective?
  • What is the best way to build immunity against COVID-19?

Of course, this blog post is just that – a blog post. It is my opinion, it is not medical advice, nor is it scientific research. However, I also acknowledge that I have spent almost 20 years practicing Naturopathy and given this I have significant clinical knowledge of the workings of the immune system – especially in the arena of holistic wellness. I recognize that I may get some push back from individuals who hold viewpoints and beliefs that differ from mine. That’s ok. I live in the United States of America and we have freedom of speech (for now…). Let’s work together and keep the conversation helpful and peaceful.

While I will give you links to various videos and articles from medical researchers so you can formulate your own opinion, in the end I am sharing my heart with you. COVID-19 has ushered in a new era of suffering, heartache, anxiety, and pain. My heart aches on a daily basis when I look at the battlefield we find ourselves in today. Ever since COVID-19 burst onto humanity’s landscape the suicide rate has increased, childhood abuse has increased, marital discord and the divorce rate has increased. Humanity is experiencing increased depression, anxiety, and fear as a result of this virus. We are living in the middle of a spiritual battlefield my friends. God has a better way.

SHOULD I TAKE THIS SHOT?

Like all medical decisions that required informed consent, this shot should be no different. And yes, I am calling it a “shot” – not a vaccine. Why? The answer is simple. All of the COVID-19 shots currently available do not meet the benchmark required for vaccines. In order to meet the definition of a vaccine the product must provide immunity against a particular disease. The COVID-19 shots available do not accomplish this, rather, the manufacturers of the shots tell us that they lesson symptoms.

Maybe they will lesson symptoms to some extent. However, a few months after the release of these shots a huge number of deaths and adverse reactions are being recorded. As of October 15th, 2021 the CDC has reported 818,044 adverse reactions AND 17,128 deaths resulting from the COVID shots. As of October 9th, 2021, EudraVigilance (a European database) is reporting 27,247 deaths and 2,563,768 injuries from the COVID-19 shots. But don’t take my word for it. Check out the links below if you want verification. Please keep in mind that these are only the reported cases – I am of the belief that most cases go either un-reported, under reported, or are reported improperly.

ALTERNATIVE PHARMACEUTICALS

Ivermectin and Hydroxychloroquine (plus zinc) are two easily available, low cost, pharmaceuticals that have been proven to save the lives of individuals suffering from COVID-19. In my opinion it is immoral to not offer these medications to suffering individuals. While I am not a medical doctor, and therefore not qualified or licensed to offer medical advice, I am a human-being and the scientific research is clear to me. We need to ask why these medications are not part of the mainstream medical Standard of Care for COVID-19. One personal note I want to share – I believe that most medical doctors truly care for their patients and they are doing the best they can within the system they find themselves. I believe the real issue comes from the “establishment” – a handful of very powerful and wealthy individuals in the world, the AMA (American Medical Association), our governments, and the pharmaceutical (vaccine) industry. I believe that Dr. Fauchi, Bill Gates, George Soros and their long list of cohorts should be ashamed of themselves. I wouldn’t want to be in their shoes when it’s time to meet Saint Peter…

THE CORONA VIRUS AND THE SHOT

Let’s take a brief look at the corona virus. I invite you to visualize a crown for a moment – with all its spikes. The corona family of viruses get their name from their shape – the corona virus molecule has an outer shell that resembles a crown (corona). All of the little spikes are parts of the virus structure that can adhere to our cells, take them over, and make us sick. The COVID-19 shots address what scientist have determined to be THE spike that causes COVID-19. The shots force your immune system to look at this one spike by sending a new (and foreign) message into your cells. The message comes in the form of mRNA (messenger RNA).

However, what about the rest of the crown? Could those spikes be important too? I believe so. When you are naturally exposed to a corona virus your immune system looks at the entire crown – not just one spike. I’m thankful I had COVID-19 back in July 2020. My immune system is now familiar with this virus and it conquered the darn thing! As a result my immune system is now smarter and stronger.

In an eye opening interview Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, an expert in vaccines and the effect they exhibit on the human body, beautifully explains the whole mRNA/DNA process as it relates to the shots. She also outlines 10 possible serious (and possibly fatal) effects of these shots. From anaphylaxis, to autoimmune diseases, to dementia, to death – it’s a very serious list. The possible dangers from these shots are real. I am not saying that everyone who gets a COVID-19 shot is at risk for potential side effects; however, I believe it is important to know the risks so you can make an informed medical decision regarding the shots. The truth is we do not know the long-term effects of these shots. The mRNA technology employed in them is new – and in my opinion very dangerous. While we do not know what the long-term effects will be, we do know that these shots will permanently alter your DNA through a process called transfection.

MY WHY

Ok, you can probably guess that I am not a fan of the COVID-19 shots – and that I have some pretty strong feelings behind my position. Please allow me to unpack the reasons I oppose the vaccine, the masks, the social distancing, and the division being created as a result of this virus.

As a practitioner of the healing arts I am familiar with the emotional and spiritual wounds people carry. They run deep and wide. These wounds are frequently reopened when triggers present. I am sure you are acutely aware of your own woundedness and pains – well some of them anyway. We often bury the deepest ones. By the grace of God I am blessed to walk with individuals on the journey through their woundedness into the joy that awaits those who love God. Sadly, I believe the healing balm our hearts and souls crave is markedly limited today as a result of our response to COVID-19.

A SPIRITUAL BATTLEFIELD

As I sit with a client I am acutely aware of the truth that we are all created in the image of the Holy Trinity – we are created in the image of pure love. By nature of our creation we have the ability to make correct moral decisions. The healing our heart seeks is found in this love. Yet, how can love flow when a smile is covered by a face mask? How can we offer a healing hug when we have to keep six feet of distance between one another? And how can a scientific experiment (the shot), so deeply connected to cells lines created from aborted babies, “heal” humanity? How… it can’t, we can’t.

Ok, some nuts and bolts on the masks. A Meta-analysis (the most stringent form of scientific study) of the efficacy of masks reveals that masks are minimally effective in preventing the spread of the virus. I personally feel that the hidden smiles behind the mask are extremely therapeutic to the human heart and soul – we need to see those faces created in the image and likeness of God. It especially breaks my heart to see my fellow parishioners wearing masks when I’m at church (and attend daily Mass very frequently). A smile is one of the most beautiful things a person can share with another, I saddens me when I see our smiles covered up.

We have to ask ourselves what we want our end game to be. The cat is out of the bag so to speak. SARS-CoV-2 is here and it’s pretty contagious. The variants will likely be even more contagious because that’s what viruses tend to do over time. Variants generally become more contagious AND LESS DEADLY over time. This is basic immunology. Humanity will reach herd immunity at some point and the SARS-CoV-2 virus will stop spreading. It will be a bad memory. I do believe we are close to reaching herd immunity as I write this blog post (Monday March 30, 2021).

When herd immunity is reached a certain segment of the population will have escaped the virus. My wish is that this group would be the most vulnerable among us. However, a significant percentage of the population must come into contact with the virus before herd immunity can happen. We all need to ask ourselves what our end game is regarding our personal contact with the virus. How do you want to build immunity?

When it comes to building immunity against SARS-CoV-2 you have two choices:

  1. Build natural immunity through exposure.
  2. Build immunity through the shot.

Either way, your immune system will have a job to do. Side note: an optimal immune response requires optimal nutrients – more on that in a bit.

CAN A CHRISTAIN TAKE A VACCINE IN GOOD CONSCIENCE?

Now its time for a very big question. Can a Christian in good conscience take a vaccine created from the cells of aborted babies? After all, Pope Francis not only took the vaccine, he told the world that Catholics have a moral obligation to take the vaccine. Yes, the Church has stated that vaccines are “morally acceptable” if no other means of prevention are available (more on natural alternatives in a bit). However, and more importantly, the Catholic Church strongly upholds the position that we not only have the right to follow our formed moral conscience, we have an obligation to do so. We have freedom of conscience that no earthly power can take away from us.

By our creation in the image and likeness of God we have the right to reject medical substances derived from aborted babies. I invite you to look deeper into the Catholic Church’s teaching on this: Catholic Exemptions. I also invite you to learn about an outspoken Catholic Bishop – Bishop Strickland. “I will not accept a COVID vaccine derived from aborted babies.” Not surprisingly YouTube has taken many of his videos down. The abortion industry is ugly, dark, and built on a foundation of human suffering. Sadly, its connection with the pharmaceutical industry is very real – and very disturbing.

THE HUMAN SOUL – GOD’S HOME OF HOMES

Here is my number one reason for opposing the shot. Like Bishop Strickland, I will not take a substance derived in any way from aborted babies so that I can live. Our physical body is a temporary creation that God gave us so we can learn to love him more. Our souls on the other hand are eternal. God gave us our physical body so that we can serve and worship him. Admittedly I fall short of the worship my soul, and God desires, time and time again. However, I am trying to become a better daughter of our most loving God.

God created the human soul out of endless love for a very important reason. He created the human soul to be his dwelling place – his home of homes. At the moment of our conception, when we become a unique person with our own DNA, God took his place in our soul. If we are to truly live as Pro-Life children of God (which is our soul’s desire) we must follow a formed moral conscience and support all life.

I ran across a powerful video discussing the connection between the COVID-19 shots and aborted babies. Like scripture tells us – everything said and done in the darkness will be brought into the light. (c.f. Luke 8:17) Here is the link: Abortion and the COVID-19 Vaccine. If you are not familiar with the connection between the abortion industry and the pharmaceutical industry you will likely find parts of this video very disturbing. By the way, all of the COVID-9 shots currently available are derived from aborted fetal tissue to one degree or another. God has a better way.

WHAT I AM DOING AND RECOMMENDING

When I had COVID-19 in July 2020 my eyes were opened. This virus is real and it causes real suffering. However, it’s death rate is very low (less then 1%) and, long-haulers aside, most people recover just fine. I believe we can accept this illness as a wake-up call – as an opportunity to grow closer to God. A call to take care of the body God gave us so that we can serve him better, so that we can worship him more fully. Such a call will require a multifaceted approach that addresses our physical, emotional, and spiritual health and bodies. Human beings are complex creations indeed!

OPTIMAL REMEDIES FOR IMMUNE HEALTH

While a healthy diet is a key component of optimal immune health, I am also a firm believer in taking care of your health by including optimal remedies. ALL LIVES MATTER

All lives matter for one simple reason. We matter because God gave each and every one of us life, our human soul is his home of homes. We need to ask ourselves a question. Are we living for God, or are we living for ourselves. Before contracting COVID-19 I faced the fear of death from this illness – the fear gripping too many of God’s children. I decided I would not live in fear. I would; however, take the steps necessary to support my health so I could in turn do my best to serve God. I remember telling myself that if COVID-19 took my life then so be it, it would be my time. In my opinion too many people are not living for fear of dying. I choose to live, to hug, and to smile. As Jesus told us – we must lose our life for his sake in order to truly live. (c.f. Matthew 10:39).

Like Bishop Strickland and many other devout Catholics and other Christians I will not take this shot. I will not take anything to “protect” my life that in anyway contributed to the murder of an innocent child. I cannot. As a mother and grandmother I cannot. As a former single teenage mother faced with an unexpected pregnancy I cannot. As a Traditional Naturopath I cannot. As a child of God I cannot. My heart, mind, and soul cannot in anyway accept these shots. What I can do is support my immune system so it can fight any variant I could be exposed to. I choose to take care of my body, the temple God gave me so that I can worship him. Someday my life will come to an end and I will be held accountable for the pain I caused in this life, and hopefully, my soul can feel a bit of respite if God allows me to see any good that I participated in.

A MESSAGE OF LOVE

If you have already had the COVID-19 shot please don’t take this blog post as a reprimand or as judgement. Also, please don’t take it as medical advice, it is not. These are certainly not my intentions. We are all doing the best we can – this world is tough. Remember Jesus told us that his kingdom is not of this world. (c.f. John 18:36). Yet, his healing love lives within the human soul, which resides within the human heart. Let his love be your guide.

This was a difficult post for me to write; however, I had to be direct and not sugar coat my feelings and beliefs. It’s never too late to support your immune system so it can do it’s job. I believe this is especially important if you have already taken the shot. And most importantly, God is always there for us with a heart bigger than we could ever imagine. Let him speak to your heart, he will show you the way into the fullness of joy and happiness your heart and soul desires.
